Rizogas-D Capsules combine Esomeprazole 40 mg (EC) with Domperidone (10 mg IR + 20 mg SR). Esomeprazole 40 mg OD for up to 8 weeks provides higher rates of healing of erosive GERD and greater sustained resolution of heartburn compared to Omeprazole 20mg, Lansoprazole 30mg, and Pantoprazole 40mg OD. In pH-maintaining time period comparisons, Rizogas-D maintained pH >4 for a median of 15.3 hours, versus Rabeprazole 20mg OD (13.3h), Omeprazole 20mg OD (12.9h), Lansoprazole 30mg OD (12.7h), and Pantoprazole 40mg OD (11.2h) (Ref: Miner P Jr, Katz PO, Chen Y, et al.
